It really is a sorry sight when you see your dog vomit. The first time you see this, you would be nervous and you wont even know what to do. There are several factors that make our dog vomit. some of the causes are listed below.

1) Indigestion - Commonly caused by swallowing something that could not be properly digested like leaves, bubblegum, fats, and some other toxins in the dog's intestine. we would know if our dogs are having digestion problems when they vomit whole foods or undigested ones, frequent defecation, bile vomiting, and abdominal pains.

2) Choking - Like people, dogs may choke on a small toy or a piece of food stuck in its throat. The best thing to do in cases like these is to make your dog drink water to wash down the thing stuck in its throat or take out the thing itself with your bare hands.

3) Parvo Virus - The dreaded Parvo Virus Causes Bile Vomiting and a mucus like stool. The virus may kill puppies from birth to 6 months so it is advised to vaccinate the dog 1 month after birth. When your dog is having these symptoms, you may give him hyper acidity tablets for first aid and make sure he drinks a lot of water. Then take nit to the Veterinarian.

In almost all cases severe or mild vomiting in pets causes dehydration. Never forget to give your pets a lot of water. It would also help if you add an oral re hydrating pill in the water that you make your pet drink to replace those lost ions and minerals.
